Who’s Behind The Thinking Room
I’m Nakitah — CBT-informed practitioner, writer, and founder of The Thinking Room.
My background in psychology and criminology gave me the framework; twelve years living and teaching across Japan and Korea taught me the nuance — how people think, connect, and protect themselves.
I created The Thinking Room for people who think deeply — sometimes too deeply — and want to slow their thoughts without silencing them.
This space lives between therapy and self-help: structured, reflective, and deeply human.
It’s not about fixing yourself.
It’s about learning to understand yourself — with honesty, clarity, and grace.

Every space is shaped by the person who tends to it.
The Method
The Thinking Room blends CBT-informed reflection, mindful inquiry, and gentle structure.
Each session helps you notice your thought patterns, name what’s true, and move with more awareness — not perfection.
You don’t need to arrive with answers, only curiosity.
Together, we trace the thread between what you think, what you feel, and how you respond — until it makes sense in your language, not someone else’s.
Step Inside the Room
If this approach speaks to you, you can begin with a single session or reach out for a brief introduction.
Sessions are available online, from anywhere in the world.
